Reverse transcription of up to two micrograms of total RNA

Price may be per sample or based on how much of a kit was needed.

Thawing and expansion of lymphoblastoid cell lines

Bioanalyzer Analysis of Nucleic Acids. Each chip has the capacity for 12 samples; billing is in increments of 12.

Samples should be provided at 25-500 ng/ul (greater than 50 ng/ul is best); volume should be at least 3 ul; in a 0.2 ml or 0.5 ml tube.

Samples that require concentrating or transferring to a different tube may incur an additional fee.

Fee for storage of samples in -80 degree freezer. Price is per rack per month and will vary with type of sample, size of boxes, and arrangements made with the Core.  One rack holds 24 - 5x5x2 inch (81-100 place) freezer boxes; other sized boxes or irregular sized samples will be based on 5x5x2 box equivalents.  Minimum fee is 1/4 of a rack. Fee may be charged monthly, quarterly, or annually.

May be charged if the Biospecimen Core staff provide the processing SOP and collection forms for the study. Fee will be variable, and dependent on the effort required. Minimum of $50 (equivalent of 1 hour labor).

The Core reserves the right to charge an additional fee if samples for bioprocessing are received in the lab with less than 24-48 hours notice.
